The undead brothers drifted off to get some rest.

Steph eventually fell asleep as well.

Kayle was snoring softly and snuggled closer to Steph. Zander curled into his seat to get comfortable.

She drove for about an hour until they reached a gas station, where she stopped to get gas.
how does it work when they don't pump your gas for you -
The older of the brothers awoke slightly and tiredly watched her.

She got out and did the whole gas thing.
if someone doesn't walk over and put the nozzle in the car and take your card for you how do you do it do you do the entire thing yourself -
...yeah, pretty much. You pay with card outside, or sometimes inside, then fill your vehicle.
Zander sighed softly as he tried to sleep. -

When she was done she got back into the car and kissed where she thought his forehead would be on the blanket. -
Sorry we live in a poor spot in America.
He smiled, feeling the kiss more above his eyebrow, and curled up more under the blanket. -
that's not a poor thing it's that way everywhere apparently except oregon??
"Where do you think we should go?" she asked the lump in the passenger seat. -
I dunno. We pump our own gas here.
"Anywhere's fine...A clean motel or hotel to stop at. Kayle needs to shower." -

She nodded, then remembered he couldn't see her. "Okay." She drove out of the gas station and continued on their drive. -
He hummed and drifted as she drove.

It was another two or three hours until they reached a decent motel. She reached back and woke up Steph, telling her that she needed to go get a room and asking her to wake up the vampires.

Kayle began to stir and wake up as soon as Steph moved. "Where are we?"
