Both vampires were fast asleep again, having run out of things to do and conversations to have. It was boring being locked up all day.

She slowly started the open the door, hoping she didn't regret this.

Zander shot up from a night terror and whined quietly as he wiped his tired eyes.

Fortunately, the bathroom door was mostly closed, and she could only see a small part of the counter. On the night stand beside the left side of the messy bed, there was a cord with a key on it.

Kayle awoke and confirmed to his brother that nothing had happened.

She walked in, taking care not to step on any part of the wood floor that might've caused noise. She was at the nightstand quickly, and took the key. When she turned back to the door, she saw a surprised Steph waiting.

Kayle yawned as he stretched and scoot over to the bars to lean onto them. The older was laying on the floor again, trying to forget the nightmare.

"What are you-- come here," Steph whispered. Anna stuck the hand, wrapped around the key, in her pocket, then left the room. She shut the door, only to be pinned against the wall by her cousin.

The younger of the two perked, ears pricked. "Hm...Something feels off.."

"Give me the key," Steph growled quietly. Anna pushed her away.
"Let go of me. What do you think you're trying to do?"
"Well, I'm not going to let you hurt them. I need that key. What are you trying to do?"
"I'm trying to save Zander and Kayle!" Anna told her cousin.
"I'm trying to save Kayle!" Steph replied, at the same time. "And... and Zander." -
Both vampires were against the bars, ears pricked to try to listen in on the commotion. "They're gonna get in trouble.."
"If they don't hurry." Zander finished for him. -
"I'm glad he likes you as much as you like him."
Steph blushed at Anna's comment. "Anyway, we should probably get downstairs and get them out." Anna nodded and the two started for the stairs. -
Kayle began to grin again, eagerly waiting for the girls. "I can't wait..!"

They headed down to the first floor, then to the basement.

Zander had to keep a grip on his brother to keep him from bouncing off the walls. "Gods, your like a damn puppy sometimes.."
