"Go wherever you want to. If you want to go to college still, there's that." He told her, an arm around her shoulders.
Once Kayle was dried off, he came out of the bathroom in his underwear and went to the bed, crawling under the covers. -
"What will you three do, though?" she asked. "I'll have to explain everything to my parents... I can't disappear as easily as you could've."
Steph smiled at him then went to use the bathroom. -
"We'll wait for you, of course. We're not just going to abandon you." He told her honestly.
Kayle smiled and curled up in the covers. -
She nodded. "Where will you go, though? You and Kayle can't exactly get jobs, and there isn't room for four people in a dorm room, not including the person I'm signed up to room with."

"We'll figure it out. Besides we can work night jobs if anything."

"You're so confused by modern technology, though..." she yawned.
Steph came back out in her unders and curled up next to him. -
"You and your cousin can teach the two of us. Well, mainly me...Kayle's so curious about everything that he'll figure things out on his own for the most part."
Kayle snuggled close, a big smile on his face as he got comfortable. -
She nodded. "I guess you're right."
She tensed up at first. She was not expecting him to be that cold. -
"You'd better rest. I think I'll stay up for a bit."
The vampire boy tried to hug her to get warm, unaware if she was bothered by the cold. -
She yawned again, and huddled closer to him. "Thank you..."
He was freezing. This wasn't as comfortable as she'd expected, thanks to his lack of heat and the huntress genes telling her not to let a vampire near her. -
"You're welcome, darling." He smiled and pet her hair.
He looked up at her curiously, a hint of concern in his eyes. "Stephy..? Are you okay?" -
"I probably would've been comfortable killing Kayle if you hadn't... done everything." She was drifting off slowly.
"You're... you're really cold. Hold on." She got out of bed, actually warmer, and put on her shirt, then came back. -
"..I see.." His expression was blank at that. He still lay there with her,thinking about what could've happened to Kayle had he not found Anna. Would Steph have still tried to save him?
"Oh.." The vampire became gloomy and he gave her space. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable or anything..." -
She buried her face in his chest and fell asleep.
"I... I just need to get used to it. I know I will eventually." She smiled weakly, feeling awful about offending him. -
"We can start like this then." Kayle gently took one of her hands, but still kept some distance.
