Elle was thinking the exact same thing. Drawing her sword, she thrust down, cutting away the vines that blocked her way. They continued on like this for some time, but the density of the forest only grew thicker. In fact, it almost seemed to be closing in...

Aerona frowned. The forest was closing in on them. She took out her scythe and sliced the trees in front of her. The trees and vines regrew as fast as they we're cut down. Aerona was starting to get irritated.

Elle flinched as one of the vines shot out, curling around her ankle. It pulled, hard, and she almost fell. Luckily Dodger caught her arm, giving her a chance to slice away the vines. But they were everywhere, surrounding their entire group. Elle was pressed back to back with Dodger, slicing as fast as she could.

Jekyll woke with a start in the middle of a jungle right off the coast of an ocean. He couldn't hear much of any-thing, and he was also heavily dis-oriented. "Damnit..." He yelped quietly as he pulled out a splinter from his thigh. -
It may be a bit late...XD)

Aerona gritted her teeth. She tightened her grip on her scythe. A red flame spread over the blade. Aerona let out a loud cry and slashed the vines in front of her. They stopped growing. Aerona panted heavily and her shoulders dropped a bit in exhaustion. Then she heard a yelp. It was nerby. -
Jekyll moved around, but to no avail. He was completely exhausted, even though he had just woken up. His sight began to blur. He just laid there in the fallen vines and wood. "What happened?" He asked him-self.

Elle stared at Aerona, thinking: It had to be magic. I couldn't run into a normal human being... Nevertheless, she put her hand on the other girl's shoulder and sighed in relief. "Thank you. That was...impressive." Dodger nodded curtly, giving a gruff, "Thanks." Before following the others.
Elle heard the yelp too. "We're not alone..." -

Aerona panted and smirked, despite looking tired. "No trouble at all." Aerona heard a branch crack and she turned her head. Then she remembered that the trees still blocked from the back and sides. "If there is anyone else here then they're probably trapped by now." -
No prob. X3)
Elle nodded. "Probably." Dodger silently noted her exhausted expression and nudged Elle, who nodded slightly. "You need to rest." She said. "We can stay here, or if you think it'll be safer, go back to the beach. Your choice." -
Aerona rolled her eyes, "And let you find the treasure. Not in your dreams." She smirked. "Besides the drowsiness wears off in a short amount of time... Hopefully. But if you think I'm stopping or going back you can think again." Aerona walked down the path, dragging her scythe behind her. Calypso trailed behind her, a worried look on her face.
