She looked down hiding her pain. "Well, I guess it will work out." She said quietly. Alls she could see was the look of pain in his eyes, when he didn't see her when they first kissed. Her blood ran cold and she pulled away from him shivering.

He sighed, wishing he could stay near her. "I'm sorry, Vivian. For everything."

She rubbed her face with both hands and then left her face in them. Letting out a great sigh she said, "Don't worry about it."

Jake was silent, just breathing as they flew.

She fell quiet and sat there with her face in her hands. She trailed her hands over her tail and noticed is was starting to dry.

"Vivian," he whispered. "I can try to change... If you want," he offered.

She shrugged, "It won't do anything." She said quietly. "Your heart is on land." She looked out the window and felt herself be tired and cold all over again.

"I can try to change," he promised. Jake looked at her, he was serious about this.

Vivian wasn't looking at him. "Everyone can change but no one can change their heart." She bealived he saw no one but his dead wife.

"Unless there is a reason," he whispered, just above the ambient noise. "Just give me a reason to change."

She looked at him. "I already gave you my reason." She said quietly.

Jake looked at her, "I'll come home," he told her. "I'll spend time with you, in between my job."
[Idea: Lacy kidnaps Frey, ties him up and tortures him] -
Hm.)
Her eyes flashed. "You would do that... For me?" Blinks at him. -
Jake nodded, "I will."

"Thank you." She said softly with a small smile. She didn't know if this would work out, her father had different things in mind for her but she didn't say anything.
