She floated on her back clearly just wanting to relax. "I could do this everyday." Smiles at him.

"I could too," he admitted. "Maybe some UDT work here and there, but I'd enjoy that."

Chuckles and closes eyes, letting the sun warm her skin. The water glistened across her face in droplets and got caught in her eyelashes.

He smiled at her, floating on his back, but facing her.

"My favorite thing is the stars." She said quietly as the sky darkned and the first glisten of the stars started I show themselves.

"Light years away," he whispered. "I can navigate by them."

"I love just.. Watching them." Smiles slightly. "So beautiful, yet untouchable."

Jake looked at her, smiling. He couldn't take his eyes off her, and her beauty in the dimming light.

She yawned again and let the silence fall. It wasn't akward, kinda nice. It relaxed her with him next to her. She half closed her eyes as she just took in her and his world combined.

He enjoyed it, the lap of the waves, the birds, a boat... A boat? He heard the thrumming and looked up, before pushing Vivian down into the water, holding her a few feet down as a boat cut through where they'd been.

Vivian looked terrified as her flash back started. Her eyes went wide and her tail stopped moving making her sink in her own locked state of fear in her mind.

Jake swam down, and brought her up to the surface. "Sorry," he apologized, holding her in his arms.

Her lip trembled as she tried to snap out of it. She absentmindedly touched her scar and her tail slowly started to work again. "So much blood.." She whispered to herself.

"It's okay," he whispered, holding her.

She buried her face into the crook of his neck and held on for life. Blinking slowly she emerged from her own horrors and blushed. "S-sorry." She said quietly against his skin, it wa soft yet rough.
