Sylvia gasped quietly. She had been in space hundreds of times before, but it always took her breath away. The endless voice of midnight blackness, accented through with pinpoints of glowing starlight. She kept her eyes glued out the window, not trusting someone to make a remark that would ruin the moment. So she turned her back on them for just a few more seconds, taking in the glorious experiance, before turning back straight in her seat, the slightes hint of a smile playing on her lips.

Katalina stared at the ever changing scene through the window. Space. Kat has only been in space once, when Humans found the Catannas. But she was very young. Most of her training had been in simulations along with strength building exercises. Though, Catannas were more built for speed then strength.
Even though her heart was beating rapidly and her hands were clutching her seat, Kat knew that she was ready for this. -
IHLAOY NewbieLooking out the window, Tresdon let out an unimpressed sigh before pulling a small mirror out of her pocket. Nothing out there impressed her anymore. She used to pip like a kettle about what might be out there in the expense of space. Once she'd actually found what was out there though, things kinda went downhill.
Creatures that wouldn't give her the time of day, ships exploding while the technology to save them was never offered, generations dying before they reached their destinations, planets where it seemed as though the laws of physics didn't exist at times. If there was more of that waiting for her out there, Tresdon was done with space.
Thank god her people wouldn't have to deal with it for too much longer. Once this mission was done, they could return to their home planet. And then they all would be done with space.
Leaning back, Tresdon smiled as the idea filled in the gaps in her memory. When mankind first stepped on the moon, Armstrong's words were repeated through history. When mankind steps back on Earth, Tresdon wanted to make sure her words would live up to the occasion. -
Garnet smiled lightly, and sped up a bit. It really was beautiful, but this was only a part of it. A miniscule part as compared to the rest of the universe laid out before them. Obviously Tresdon wasn't very impressed--Garnet wondered how much of this she'd seen before.
She straightened out the ship so that they were going roughly towards earth. Once they were close enough, they'd have to change a few things, of course, but for now the steady pace they were going suffice.
