Sylvia was a bit relieved, but also a bit nervous. The less humans the better, (in her opinion) but less people would be easier to attack and defeat. It was strangely comforting though, the fact that she wasn't the odd one odd anymore. Of course she was still the only Lizord, but her commander was the only human and Katalina was the only Catanna.
Sylvia bristled a bit at the human's words. 'More normal people.' She knew she was far from normal, but it was still slightly insulting. However she shrugged it off and began to follow the commander towards the bay where they would find their ship. -
Name: Garnet Sidar
Gender: Female
Species: Kanaks (a species similar to the Catannas, with wolf features instead of cat featuresoh yes I went there)
Height and Weight: 5'1", 105 pounds
Looks: Thick dark brown hair that falls past her shoulders and golden eyes. Dark fur covers her entire body. She has wolf ears and sharp canines, but an entirely human body.
Weapons: One long knife and one pistol
Other: When the other members of the mission were unable to make it, she was sent to make the group a bit more complete.
(Assume that right before they take off, Tresdon gets a notification saying she's coming or something like that.) -
IHLAOY Newbie(How about she's the pilot?)
Tresdon was still getting used to each of the different aircrafts that she found herself upon. Some of them were hundreds of years old, with history and culture to match. Others were recent, and glowed with new alien technology she neither cared about nor wanted to learn about. Each craft was like another world, and she was still getting used to the customs of this craft in particular. The lights shined down from the ceiling as she walked; silently hoping she was going in the right direction.
Two bay doors pulled themselves open as Tresdon approuched, revealing the port to the crew. It was huge, stretching to the horizon and rising so high you couldn't see the ceiling. And in this vast cavern were ships; of every race, colour, size, name and rank. Catwalks lined the walls, and the buzz of talking and the light hum of power tools filled the air. Sighing softly to herself, Tresdon lead herself forward; once again hoping that the rangers hadn't decided to be smart and park all the way on the other end. -
Sylvia gazed around the large port, taking in all the varying ships. It was nothing new to her, but she was still fascinated by how much each ship differed from the next. There were the Catanna ships, shiny and high tech and stylish. The Lizord ships, sleek and fast, and the human ships, with their sturdy build and large wings. Shaking her head slightly, she marveled at each vessel's unique parts. Just like their crew, each member was as similar as they were different.
-
Katalina looked around the port. All the different ships were resting in different areas. Kat noticed that the ships were sorted by the species design. Catanna ships were in the west area, Lizord ships were in the east area, and Human ships were in the north area. Kat knew there was another type in the south area, but she couldn't remember which one. Workers milled around the room, making adjustments and improvements.
-
Finally deciding to make an attempt at socializing, Sylvia leaned towards the Catanna and whispered. "Do you know what kind of hip we're taking?" She silently hoped it would be a Lizord ship. They were fast and sensible. But of course, any other ship would do, as long as they made it to Earth.
-
"I'm not sure. There are plenty of options. But it's hard to tell with all the people running around," Kat whispered back. "Personally, I don't really care which one we go on. What really matters is that we actually make it to Earth, right?"
-
*ship)
She nodded, offering her human hand. "I don't thinkI introduced myself. I'm Sylvia." -
Katalina shook Sylvia's hand. "Nice to meet you, Sylvia. As you already heard, I'm Katalina."
-
She nodded. "Yeah." She kept walking after the commander, it seemed as though their ship was at the end of the bay.
-
Garnet slipped through her halls, the dark fur that covered her entire body rippling slightly as she moved. Her gleaming eyes searched for the three that were supposed to be her team. Two aliens and one human. Knowing humans, he'd probably be pissed to know that her pilot was also an alien. With a small grin that revealed her sharp canines, she spotted Tresdon examining the multiple ships.
"Commander Tresdon, I assume?" She said as she neared the human. -
*Walking past the other two aliens with a quick nod at both of them.
-
Sylvia nodded back, her silver eyes locked onto the pilot. She had always admired their canine-like species. Powerful, yet still graceful. From stories she knew that at one point humans had lived near wolves, they had even been able to watch and take pictures of them.
She sighed inwardly. Of course they had probably evolved into savage beasts by now, but she couldn't help that. -
Katalina nodded back. She resisted the urge to flee or attack. She once read in a book that felines and canines were usually shown as enemies. She hasn't really seen the wolf species, or any other species related to canines. So the kitty Kat inside her didn't know how to react.

IHLAOY NewbieLooking the alien up and down, Tresdon nodded to herself slowly; extending an arm. At this point, she figured; why not? Lets just open the zoo gates and bring along anyone that walks out, what could go wrong?
"You must be Fido, yes?" Tresdon asked, smiling, before letting out a chuckle. "So you're going to be the one taking us to planet fall? I trust you've gotten everything prepared; we can leave immediatly?"
