I yawned softly, "Hmmm..not could, you should and you will"

"You sound tired. Which makes sense, since the tea was chamomile." He smiled a little, gently.

I poked his knee with my foot, "Chamomile, hmm? Brilliant stuff", I yawned softly, snuggling into the blanket, "Would it still work if I stuffed it under my pillow?"

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. You could try if you wanted." His knee would've instinctively jerked away at that, but he forced it to stay.

"Okay", she watched the storm disapear and gradually fell asleep, her head resting on the couchs's armchair

He watched her. The fire crackled into little embers, then faded completely. They were in almost full darkness.

She was deep in the world of dreams, where she once again witnessed the storm

Eventually he stood and walked past the couch. However, he returned and picked her up gently, carrying her upstairs.

She mumbled softly in her sleep, "Mew..mew".

"Mew mew," he whispered back, climbing the stairs and heading into her bedroom.

She snuggled into his chest, "Mew..."

He smiled as he pushed aside the blankets and laid her on the bed. "Sleep well," he breathed, tucking her in and shutting the door quietly as he left.

And so she continued to sleep. Locked in a world of dreams

He returned to his room and sat on the bed, thinking about the day. She thinks this is all a dream?

In her dreams she replayed the storm, the streaks of light and the booms
