"I think you might want to leave, we'll forget that this ever happened and I'll make sure my winged friend doesn't come out to get you cause as you can see he is a maniac", I said refering to the fact that he looked like something from a sci-fi movie. And let's not forget the lightning in the background which just adds to the sinister feeling. This kid is good at being dramatic

He walked over, taking the knife from the awe-struck man. "Listen to her. Leave, now."
He was gone faster than either of them could've hoped. -
When they guy ran out, I stared at Max for a while and smiled, rushing over to him I hugged him, "Thanks for preventing my death, Maxxi the winged maniac", I looked up at him, "Seriously though, crazy smile and lightning background suit you"

"Um... Yeah... Thanks." He gently removed himself from her hug. "I'm freezing, and I'm guessing you are too."

I nodded my mutely, "Not a good idea to go for stroll in the night in the rain, or", I nodded at his wings, "Flight in your case"

"Probably should've gone to that gay orgy instead, huh?" He looked at the window. "I'm not really sure what to do about that right now..."

"Yeah, would've been a safer bet", I looked at the window, "Might be better to cover it up or something, in case the rain starts again"

He headed outside. There was probably something in the garage.

I ran upstairs, pulling on some dry pajamas. Walking into Max's room I took a t-shirt, thinking he want want something dry to wear

He looked around, eventually finding a tarp and some duct tape. It'll work until tomorrow... Max carried the items out to the window and put together a makeshift cover. He came back inside. "Well, I think it's safe to assume that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing."

I came downstairs his shirt in hand, "Here", I said handing it to him, "Thought you might want something dry", I glanced at the wonky cover, "Urrmm..its alright, just needs to last the night"

"Yeah... And thanks. I'll be back in five minutes, unless you're planning on heading to bed.

"I'll try to sleep", I laughed, "But after all of this? Ha, that'll be a battle, wish me luck", I said as I began to ascend the stairs

He followed her upstairs. "If you need me, I'll be in the living room. After I've changed and everything."

"Of course", I nodded my head and walked into my room, before closing the door, I looked at him and smiled, "Thanks again, I really appreciate everything", and then I closed the door
