She hopped off her bed and walked towards him, tapping his nose, "Hmm..250 year old bat guy watching me sleep? Why not? Perfectly normal", she smiled

"Angel, actually. Nut I could be a bat... That'd be kinda cool, actually." He let himself drop, landing with some grace. He stood and grabbed the tips of his wings, spreading them like Dracula's cloak.

She grinned, "Nice", she pretended to examine him, "Just need the spiked teeth"

"I don't think I'm that committed," he said as he let go of his wings and allowed them to fold against his back. "Sleep well?"

"Yes, thanks", she frowned, "Umm..but I don't remember how I got up here"

"I brought you up here. In case... you know... that guy came back." That worked. That was a good reason.

"Oh, thanks", she laughed, "Though I think you scared him too much, I doubt he'd come back"

"Should I take that as a complement?" he asked.

"Hmm...if having the potential to look like a maniac is a compliment then yes"

"It can come in handy. What do you want to do today?" He sat on her bed.

She sat down next to him, "Hmm...Maxy I don't know, you choose this time"

He tensed a little when she called him Maxxy. "Let's go have breakfast. I'm sure we can figure something out." He stood up again, and headed tower the door.

She followed behind him, "Maybe a drive? I'm still clueless about this town"

"Yeah, we could do that." Downstairs, he opened the fridge and grabbed the carton of eggs. "By the way, you don't mind that a shirtless angel more than ten times older than you is making you breakfast, right? I'll wash my hands and I won't get any feathers in it."

She sat ontop of the counter, swinging her legs, "No, another perfectly normal thing for any completely normal person", she said with a smile, "Although we're not normal, are we?"
