I smiled. "I can respect you for staying clear of Wes with a knife." I said, half serious, half playfully. "Assuming she doesn't have a knife now, you should try talking to her."

I sighed. "I guess so...but if she's still mad at me..." I trail off, miserably gulping down more of my sprite. Wes had been my friend for a while now, and one of the few girls I know who aren't only obsessed with make up and glitter. Cynthia and Florance were like that too, which is why we were all friends. But the thought of Wes mad at me was unbearable. My joke had spiraled downward quickly. I had meant to make her blush and smile in that funny way she does when she's embarrassed, but I hadnt realized how seriously she would take it. Connor too. I had never see the pranker so upset.

I smiled. "She's probably not mad at you, your probably mad at yourself. Wes just needs to blow off some steam." I thought for a moment, "Speaking of which, where did Wes go?"

I tilted my head to one side thoughtfully. "Last I saw she was training, but I think she's probably finished by now." I drain the silver goblet, placing it on the table. "Thans for letting me rant."

"What are friends for? I'll come to you guys next time I need to rant," I said, grinning.

I grinned back. "You know where to find me." I stood up, arching my back in a stretch. "I think I'm going to go for a walk." I say. "You can come of you like."

I shrugged. "Sure," I said. I stood up. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." I admit. "Maybe down to the beach. It always helps me clear my head." I explain, heading over towards the lake.

I nodded and followed her. I guessed that the meeting was almost done by now, if it wasn't already. There was more and more people being identified as Half-Bloods and more people being claimed. After last year, nothing has been the same.

I sit by the edge of the lake and pull off my black sneakers. Slipping my feet into the cool water, suddenly jealous of Percy and Bree. They cancontrol this stuff. -
I left my cabin and walked out to the lake to test a new power. I focused hard, and a patch of the sky turned black. This was the equivalent of an Iris message , only used by children of Night. I could only contact her children, so I called Day.

I slipped off my shoes and stepped in the water, still standing. "Just to think, Percy and Bree can control water." I said, the awe not hidden from my voice

I walked back to the Hermes cabin, my hands stuffed in my jacket pocket (I know it never gets cold here, or whatever, but it was really comfy), thinking about what happened earlier,and I felt bad for blowing up like that. Sure, Travis and Diana stopped Connor kissing me, but I overreacted. I smiled, blushing a little. Besides, that kiss was inevitable. If I didn't make it happen, then Connor would.
Connor: I saw Wesley walking to our cabin. "Okay, guys, here's what we do. Travis and I can't do it, because she'll get suspicious. So who wants to have the honor?" No one stepped forward. "Come on, guys, if she tries to kill you, Travis and I will hold her down. Promise."
"I'll do it." Danny, a ten year old ball of awesomeness, grinned. "It's an awesome idea, Connor. And on one of our own? Way cool!" -
I smile. "Yeah. They're pretty lucky." Turning, I see Wes. "I'd better go apologize. Bye Cynthia!"

I walked outside and decided to take a walk. I walked into he forest, quickly stumbling upon a lake. I stepped into the water and let m legs change into my shiny silver mermaid tail (Percy can't do this because he's a guy)
