"I smell cinnamon rolls..." Connor said, moving in a trance to the door. "I think you're smelling Ambrosia cooking." I teased. He moaned. "Smells...so...good." I laughed. "Come on, Connie. Let's go put some food into that bottomless pit you call a stomach." Connor glanced at me through the corner of his eyes, grudging admiration shining.

I noticed people walking towards the dining pavilion and realized that it must be lunch. I walked towards the Dining Pavilion.
-
I followed the happy yet unofficial couple. Travis poked me playfully in the ribs. "I bet I can sing louder then you at the campfire tonight." I froze, rembering how David and I used to compete that way all the time. He suddenly winced, realizing his mistake. "Di, I'm sorry- I didn't mean-" "It's fine." I said sharply, cutting him off. "It's fine." I repeated, more to reassure myself then Travis. He frowned, obviously upset. I managed a smile and poked him back. "But I'll bet you I can drink more soda." He grinned, looking a little relieved. "No way!"
I have a plan for David. Is it okay if he joined Kronos' side and Diana has to face him in the battle at NYC? ) -
I walk in the dining pavilion, and sit at the Athena table along with my half-siblings. I notice Diana, Wes, Travis, and Connor walk in and I wave.
-
Oh my gods. Yes, that would great/epic/interesting! And a little internal battle is always interesting :)
I waved back, grinning. For some reason, I was more relaxed around Connor. I didn't know why, but it was just one of those things that can't be controlled. I sat down between Diana and Connor. Connor stared longingly at his plate, then up at Chiron for the announcements. -
I looked up at Chiron as he started the announcements. Everyone else at my table did to. There was tension in the air. Everyone waiting for the announcement after the meeting.
-
(Lucky, I think we need to hash out who gets Travis. We shall have a battle Royal for him)
I sit at the end of the table, not noticing anyone around me. A yawn escapes my lips but I try to stifle it with my hand as I watch Chiron begin the announcements. -
I glanced over at Annabeth, who was trying to hide behind her siblings, talking rapidly into her cell phone. She snapped it shut and stood up. "Um, guys? Percy just called me, and-" People, mostly from the Aphrodite cabin, started cat-calling. I had to stop Connor before it got too far. Chiron glared at everyone else. "Quiet down!" He yelled. Annabeth mouthed 'thank you', then cleared her throat. "He didn't say much, but he wanted everyone in the city. Like, right now."
Clarisse stood up. "Ares will not go. Not until what is rightully ours is given to us." Annabeth glared at the daughter of Ares. "Clarisse, we don't have time for this. I think...I think this is it. This is the day we've been preparing for. The day we battle against the Titan army."
My fork clattered to the stone floor. "C-Connor?" Connor took my shaking hands. "Wes, are you okay?" I shook my head. "I don't think so." I whispered. "I don't think I'm okay at all." -
I stared at Annabeth, then at Chiron. It was time. I suddenly didn't feel so hungry. I looked at Annabeth. She looked torn. Then again, after the whole Luke incident, I couldn't blame her. No one needed to be told to leave, most people just left to start getting ready. I glanced at Wes, Diana, Travis and Connor. This was going to be the battle we've all been preparing for.
-
Battle royal? I didn't know ur charrie liked Travis but okay. :P)
I looked up sharply. "Like...now?" I squeaked, sounding a lot less heroic than I wanted to. Travis looked at me, then at Annabeth, then up to Chiron, looking confused and a little frightened. -
Connor helped me up, and I stumbled, squeezing my eues shut. "I don't think you should go." He said. I glared up at him. "Connor Stoll, I will be fighting. There is nothing you can do or say that will keep me from going." Connor touched the too of my head. "Your blondness is showing." He said. I touched the top of my head. "I guess I'll stay long enough to redye my hair, and let it dry. But not a minute longer." I warned.

Avoiding anybody's eye contact I get up silently and look for somewhere I can gather my piece of mind. I head to the forest barely holding onto the tears that fill into my eyes.
I just broke the line of trees when a sob escaped my mouth. I try keeping it in, it's not even something worthy of crying, but I still do. My memories come into mind when I was still on the run, but I had another person with me, Gwen, she was almost like an older sister to me. Then one night we came across a monster that looked like a giant troll. Thanks to her sacrifice I was the only one to make it out alive. And the worse part was is that camp was only a day away. -
I sit motionless, almost not comprehending. Just a second ago my biggest problem was the fact that Travis might be able to drink more soda then I could, and now we were all about to go fight for our lives. I let out a humorless laugh, and the surrounding campers looked at me like I was insane. Travis pulled me up and I noticed Wesley. "Wes, you don't look too good..."
-
I leaned against a column, breething deeply. Connor put his arm around my shoulders. "How about this: I'll dye your hair, and you catch your breath." I open my eyes a little, smiling ruefully. "If you're up to it, sure. But my hair needs to be washed first. Okay?" Connor smirked. Then let's do it quickly. We don't want to miss out on the fun, right?"
"Are you gonna go get my hair dye or not?" Connor smirked. "Don't run off without me."
"In my state? You must be crazy." -
(Yes she does like him, I was just trying to be a bit subtle about it, you know her thinking "I don't like hime but really I do," Where shall we hold this battle?)
'How will I be able to face those things again?' I ask myself. I've purposely avoided going on quests to avoid monsters, and this battle happens. Last year wasn't a good year at all, I turned numb for at least two months I was just getting better, then this happened. How silly of a half-blood, who defeats monsters, is scared of them.
