I smiled at them, glad for the company. They kept the mood light, and gave me something to focus on. If I didn't have them to look at, I would probably be more focused on the fact that Travis's hand was literally two millimeters from mine. I stared to the side. Then at Wes and Connor. Then at the floor. Anything from keeping him from seeing how bright red my face had become. But the blush faded as I realized something. We're going to war. Some of us might die. I close my eyes and suddenly feel very small. "Scared?" Comes a whisper, right in my ear. I jump about a foot in the air, but relax when I see it's only Travis. Instead I admitting the truth, I stiffen and turn my head. "No," I lie. "I'm not scared." I can't let him, or anyone know how terrifying this really is for me. If anyone didn't come back, Percy, Wes, Connor, Travis, Florence, anyone, (even Clarisse, who I never liked) I don't know what I'd do.

Bump...)
-
(Lucky, get back on survivor real quick!)
-
I shuddered, but not from the lack of heat- put twenty demigods in full battle armor in a van and everyone will be sweating within ten minutes. No, it was something else. "Something's not right." I muttered. "There's something definitely wrong here."
-
I jumped again, strangely on edge. "What is it!?" I whispered, squeezing my hands into fists. One of them accidentally closed around Travis's hand, but I blushed and moved before he could react.
-
I knew something was wrong. I look around and suddenly get the chills.
(Is my sis allowed to make a character?) -
"You think you can defeat me, little demigod?" Kronos whispered to me. A wave of chills were sent down my spine, and Connor wrapped his arms around me. I curled up and pressed my face into his neck. He jerked away, yelping.
"Wes, you're freezing!"
Connor: I looked into her eyes and scooted away. "W-Wesley?" The voice that replied wasn't hers. "You will all die!" Not-Wes laughed coldly. "Your world will perish, little demigods, and you shall suffer!"
Wesley screamed in pain and gripped my hand so tight I thought they were going to fall off. "Wes! Wesley, are you okay?"
"Get him out of my head!" She screamed. "Get. Him. Out!" -
"WES!" I screamed, jumping to my feet. Travis followed quickly. "Connor, do something!"
-
Wes' words make my hands clench, nails biting into the palm of my hand. I watch Travis and Diana on the other side of the bus, them temporary holding hands and blushing at the action of it while taking their hands away. It causes a ache in my chest.
'The one guy I liked, and he doesn't like me back. One of us might die, and he'll never know how I feel. Even if we do live, he will never be with me,' I think morosely to myself. -
I felt a sharp pain in my head and ignored it. Paying attention to it might make me end up like Wesley. I yell, "Connor! Here!" And toss him a ziplock bag of pixie dust, which can block and protect a demigod from evil or demonic spirits.
-
Connor: I take the bag and blow a small handful into her face, and sprinkling another handful over her head. Wesley's loud, heartwrenching sobs quieted to soft whimpers. She still clung tightly to my chest, curled a little ball against me. A few tears escaped from my eyes and dripped from my chin onto the top of her head. "I'll keep you safe, Wesley." I whispered. "I promise, I will always keep you safe."
I saw my mother again, but this time with a man- late twenties, early thirties, by the stubble. She didn't look very happy with him, but she must have been convincing enough for him. Bile rose in my throat; I hated him already. "Your family is broken, little one." Kronos whispered to me. "Your mother is withering away, and your father is not taking action to stop her death. Soon you will have nothing. Soon you will join me."
"I will never join you." I said firmly. "Now be gone."
Kronos laughed, but retreated from my mind. I shivered, and wrapped my arms around a warm torso, retreating to a place where dreams cannot haunt me. -
Shaking slightly, I stare at Wes, my face horror-stricken. "It must've been him..." I whispered. I sat back down, as did Travis. I leaned back into the seat and closed my eyes. Maybe I could get a little rest from all this panic...
-
Connor: I stared out the window, resting my chin on Wesley's glittery head. She was my best friend, and more. I'd known her for three years, and have looked after her since her first day at Camp Half-Blood, when she starved herself. At first, I was only her protective brother. But then she told me her darkest secret, which to this day I have still kept. She trusted me. And so I put trust in her, and revealed all of my trade secrets. I became her mentor, and we spent every day together, each learning.
'Get a hold of yourself.' I told myself. 'You're going to war, Stoll. You can't afford to be nostalgic now.' -
There was tension on the bus. I hoped the fairy dust worked for Wesley. I felt like her, me, Florence, and Diana were going to have to work together for some reason.
(Can we make them all get kidnapped together???) -
(I'm good with that)
