As they walked in, a tall girl smiled. Lucky stepped up to her. "My friend and I are here to enter." "Names?" "Lucky Starla"

"Raven Gordon."

"Pokemon species, gender and name? You can enter up to two." Lucky thought. "Celeste, female Ninetales, and..."
Gtg, might be on for like two more mins!) -
Flare, Male Charmander, and Midnight, Female shiny Umbreon."

Instead of Bulbasaur, I'm gonna have a Flygon named Spirit.)
"...and Spirit, male Flygon."

Raven waited for what the lady would say. -
"Alright then! Right this way." She led them to a large room, where the competitors prepared their pokemon.

Raven let Flare out of his Pokeball when she was in the room. Flare looked around at the other Pokmon and their trainers.

Midnight looked around curiously as Lucky released Spirit and Celeste. "Are you going to dress then up?" She asked Raven.

Raven smiled. "Nah, Flare's cute as he is! And so is Midnight!" Flare let out a, "Char-Char!" In agreement.

Midnight nodded. "Um! Umbreon!" Lucky smiled. "Yeah. I usually skip the costumes."

Raven bent down to be at the same eye level as Flare. "Flare, remember to do something fancy with your attacks. Try a little swirl or something in the fire atatcks." Then she turned to Midnight. "The same goes for you."

Midnight nodded. Lucky turned to Celeste. "Remember, focus equally on the fight and looks. And Spirit, use some flying moves."

"Flare, here's another thing as well: Whatever you do, do not try to just use power. Finesse and Looks are very important!"

"It's starting!" Someone announced. The first battle opened onscreen to reveal a girl and her pansage versus a slightly younger boy with a marshtomp.
