Icecrack smiled slightly. "I wish Windflight was still here to help." He admitted, looking down at his paws. -

"She'd be proud of you." Firepaw said. "And now you have Whisperpaw." -

Icecrack smiled. "Yeah. I just miss her. It was really sudden..." -
Bearpaw slowly opened his eyes. At first, he was confused. Then, he remembered the battle, and what had happened. He groaned softly, and forced himself to roll over on his side. He could hear no yowling or screeches, which meant the battle was over. But who had won?

"Yeah, it was." Firepaw said a bit somberly. She hadn't known the old she-cat well, but she'd heard enough gossip from the cats sharing tongues in camp. Firepaw knew that Windflight had been a skilled, fast-working (albeit short-tempered) medicine cat, and that she'd been extremely close with her mentor, Howlingpool. It seemed that Icecrack and Windflight had been close too. Maybe it was just a med cat thing. -
Frozenpaw padded into the old Cavernclan medicine den. "Look who's finally awake." The white tom taunted Bearpaw.

Bearpaw glared at Frozenpaw, and turned his head so he couldn't see the tom.

"What? That battle didn't news up your hearing did it?" Frozenpaw laughed, but it was forced. The obnoxious tom couldn't stand being ignored. He liked attention, although he wasn't so nice to look at anymore. Firepaw had given him a nice scar on the left side of his face.

Bearpaw was pretty sure Sunclan had one, or he was having a nightmare. He continued to ignore the white tom, just to get him mad.

Frozenpaw stopped laughing and glared. "Hey! I'm talking to you, mousebrain!"

Bearpaw yawned, and continued to pretend the obnoxious tom didn't exist.

"Hey!" Hissed Bearpaw's fellow apprentice, lashing his tail.
