Nightwing stood up, placing the kits on her back. "We should keep moving."
That's Nightwing for you: Just gave birth? Doesn't matter! Let's travel!) -
Firepaw rolled her eyes, but grinned slightly. The grumpy tom was fun to argue with, when he wasn't insulting the other Cavernclan cats. "So," She said, changing the subject. "Why is it that you always get the timid apprentices? Does Ivystar not think you're ready for a toughie?" She taunted, thinking of shy Airwing and quiet Skyheart.

"Because they know a stubborn fighter will get in trouble with me, and won't make it out alive. Airwing and Skyheart were smart enough to obey, and survived with me. They don't want to risk it."

Floodpaw forced himself to sheath his claws again.

"Glad you're not my mentor." She leaned in towards Floodpaw. "Though I could totally beat him!" She whispered.

Dogstar rolled his eyes. "We're leaving the territory unguarded for a day! " -

Shadeheart raised a whiskered brow but said nothing. -
