I'm mostly talking to the Jesus-freaks.
You can say all you want "Jesus decides your future! God will decide what you do!" but you know what? Why would you waste your life waiting for someone to decide your life? Maybe it is true, that He decides things. But why are you going to wait? If it is not true, then you wasted your whole life, waiting for imaginary help from the man in the sky.
And yes, I am Catholic. But there comes a point in everyone's life where you have to realize this. And if you push the thought away, you're really not going to get anywhere. -
This reminds me of a story I was just thinking about earlier actually.
A man is sitting on a roof, since the whole town was flooded so high. He was praying and saying 'Don't worry! God's going to save me!' When a rescue man in a boat found him and waved him over, the man shook his head and said 'No, God's going to save me!'. The boat passes on and after a while another boat comes by, offering to take him to where help is. But he said again, 'No! My faith is in God and he's going to save me!'. Then this happens one last time and he does the same thing. Shortly after, he dies and meets with God. He frowns and says 'God! You were supposed to save me!' Then God said, "I did, I sent out three boats."
So basically, God never just picks you up and puts you to better things. Opportunities will come and we are supposed to take action. Not sit on our butts and hope it'll all work out. God hears prayer, but it'll never work unless we act.
And yes, just what I believe. x3 -

Has anyone else noticed that in the past 2 days, 3 new users have been created just to fight on the religion forum?
I get the strangest feeling that there are a lot of new second accounts. -

@James I've noticed that too. I think all three are the same, though I'm wondering if it's someone who's on here or just some troll or something that found the site. :I It's weird.

I take it as a personal success when people have to create a secret identity to tell me how much they hate me. xD -
xD True. It looks really really bad. They do it because atheists and theists alike are standing up for you, and they feel all alone when no one's on their side.

I'll admit that I could make things sound nicer. But honestly until they show me that they deserve my nicer side, I don't think I need to show it. xD
And I do give these kids credit. They're smarter than the last couple batches. From Purple Cherries to JITW, we haven't had a lot of good examples of Christian voices lately. xD -
Exactly, respect is earned, especially since I've noticed many of them can be disrespectful themselves. xP
That is true too, it's been a while since I've seen some good debating. :3 The thing with them is after a while they get tired or something and bring it down to 'you all are a bunch of nerds with tape on your glasses!' xD That's actually more of a compliment in my world. -
