FLgirl92 NewbieI would certainly hope I'm going to Heaven. I've definitely done things in my life that would qualify me to go to Hell, but I've mostly repented those things. I can truly say that I'm not sure where I'm headed.

Just stating what I believe, especially now considering I didn't know this back when I first answered.
Going to heaven isn't about good deeds. It's accepting Jesus and God. The only reason heaven is a nice place is because God is all good. So if you want to be around him after you die, then you'd go to heaven. .3. -

You don't go to heaven because you are a good person and go to church. You go to heaven if Jesus is your savior and is living in your heart. -
FLgirl92 NewbieIt's kind of funny you mention that, Ana. My religious background is mostly Baptist Christianity. I've gone to a few services with my grandparents, and it's interesting because Baptist services seem to emphasize moral purity and preach fear of God's wrath. I've personally never liked that. My mother always told me that God will love me as long as I love Him. I prefer to believe that, but it's kind of hard sometimes to get away from that God-fearing mentality that any deviation from the straight and narrow will earn you an eternity in Hell. BTW my grandparents don't know I'm bi largely because they're strict Baptists.

@FL Ah, I find that ironic considering I go to a Baptist church. x3 Though, at my church, they always emphasize that none of us can be good enough and that's why Jesus had to come in the first place. He loves us enough even knowing our flaws. So yeah, I don't believe nor listen to any Christian denomination or church that says otherwise. :3
