This doesn’t fit the vibe of my official thread but
Apparently according to like one YouTube short China or whatever is considering selling TikTok US to Elon Musk just so it doesn’t get banned in the US
If it does happen I’m immediately deleting all my stuff because we all know what Elon Musk did to Twitter and I don’t want AI stealing my art!
If it doesn’t happen I am kinda sad TikTok is getting banned in the US just bc it’s how I watch a lot of my favourite creators’ videos, like Scott Sava and Danny and ClawedBeauty but those creators are on yt and will hopefully keep posting content on there but yeah -
I swear if Musk names TikTok “Y” I’m deleting the app

I love how America wasn’t like “let’s make a data protection law! Let’s protect our citizens! :)” and instead were like “let’s delete the most popular app bc china”
At least now I’ll stop seeing election content I don’t know why that popped up on my fyp in the first place but hopefully it’ll stop if this actually does happen
I don’t think it will bc like every western country has talked about doing this for like 5 years and never gone through with it but either way it doesn’t effect me so ha -
The government in the US is so dum all they want is power and control like jeez you are not the centre of the world calm down !
