I have no right to feel this euphoric about being perceived as a manly masculine man male guy boy
That said all my band friends thought I was either a twink or a “tomboy” (2022 me would’ve loved that last one smh)
Srsly tho in 2022 I was a “GIRL I was a FEMALE I was JUST A FEMALE don’t you DARE call me anything else” while also being “not like the OTHER girls I’m friends with BOYS that I DONT LIKE ROMANTICALLY and I’m also a QUIRKY NERD”
I made this account when I was still in that phase aka early 2023 hence my username but looking back I find it so funny because that’s just gender dysphoria at its finest
I think it stopped around June 2023 where I was like “uh hang on-“ and discovered I am part of the alphabet mafia -

Also I hate the government which is very teenagecore of me
The reason I’m still on social media (TikTok, snap, yt, tHiS etc) despite the under-16 ban is because one it’s stupid, two I’m not letting the government dictate what I’m on I’m a teenager for a reason and three to preach the fact that medical professionals think that kids under 16 in Australia that don’t have social media or access to forums and chatrooms etc will have a VERY below average reading ability by the time they get to adulthood
Australia is already behind as it is in literacy but imagine when Gen Beta comes along like we’re gonna be raising a generation of morons
Also cyber bullying is probably gonna increase too like ages below 16 none at all life is good then you get social media and suddenly it’s all death threats and harassment because they won’t be taught that cyber bullying is bad because “there’s no point since they’re not allowed social media and they’ll be mature adults by the time they get it right” -
Also like the entire thing is stupid lmao
These sites, based in America and China, aren’t going to demand IDs and s--- just because Australia wants them to the government is asking a lot like these sites could lose money because of that and they’re not dumb enough to enforce it
Also kids are kids they’re gonna find ways around it
The literal reason my dad didn’t put parental controls on my phone is because “no child of mine won't not be able to get passed parental controls it’s easier for me not to try” and it’s true I helped my sister download messenger kids on her phone despite her having parental controls because I’m just that great of a sibling
My point is kids will always be able to get passed these things like it’s crazy how telling a kid not to do something will make them want to do it even more the entire thing is stupdi -
Not to mention this generation is already practically illiterate

Honestly tho if my school didn’t tell people “phones are BANNED do NOT take them out!!!!” I think less people would sneak them
Just let kids set their own limits when they’re old and responsible enough like if you dictate a kid’s screen time they’ll want more and binge it when you’re not around. If you regulate it but don’t completely control it they’ll find other things to do because you’re not forcing them to and create their own limits it psychology
So in conclusion the social media ban is stupid and I will continue to completely disregard it as most kids my age are doing please don’t report me thank you :P -

and honestly, the tiktok ban thing or whatever is kinda really stupid, since so many people are already bypassing whatever "age restrictions" are set (like, i'll put my age as like, 24 or smth on apps like tiktok lmfaoo) but like, it does kinda make sense in some ways? tiktok is kinda crazy lmaoo
and real, i'd completely disregard the social media ban if i were you xD
as for restrictions on stuff like social media and screen time and just, anything to do with a phone, it pisses me off. i've seen stuff on the internet that i wouldn't have ever seen if i was never told i wasn't allowed to see said things. i wouldn't have made accounts on websites if i was never told i couldn't have accounts on websites, like gtq or pinterest or deviant art, stuff like that-
it's why i kinda resent my parents, specifically for stuff like this, honestly-
