My cousin is going to the Dominican Republic for 2 years
that's crazy.
Everyone was getting so emotional and teary eyed over it, and I didn't know how to take it. Ik it's because they're happy, he's going to do amazing things, and meet amazing people and teach them the word of god and stuff, but it just felt so overwhelming for some reason.
And my grandparents were all: "You'll do that someday, and be an amazing missionary of Christ and all that!" and like... no thanks.
I'll probably be fine in an hour or two, it's just social anxiety and me being a little s--- :') -

Aaaaaand look who just broke the law like 2 hours ago without realizing it
(they just passed the bathroom bill in my state, or at least are starting to enforce it more. They made a new website where you can report trans people in the bathrooms to the local authorities. The bill states that you have to go to your bathroom assigned at birth in public places or whatever. Thankfully I normally pass well enough that nobody realizes at public areas, and at school people don't want to report anyone because they're too worried that then the police will investigate the bathroom and see how many people are doing drugs in them so like-)
The new law is all one of my favorite podcasts is talking about this week goddamn it-
Can't wait to get out of this f---er of a state ugh.
But they're passing it in the AIRPORT. THE. AIRPORT. Imagine going on multiple flights as a trans person and having to go to the bathroom in the middle of it, so you go in the gender stall you identify with and you get REPORTED because of it.
Also, in the past 5ish whatever days since they've had that website where you can report people you ASSUME are trans people (which is a f---ing loaded sentence by itself) there have been exactly ZERO actual credible reports.
The reports on it tho are actually funny because nobody is taking it seriously. People have just been spamming photos of the Bee Movie or reporting the governors that made the law. The website is literally glitching out because of how many people are just spamming that website with memes -

And the thing is, nobody here likes the law. The only people I know that are happy about this law are my grandparents (who are literally so old they'll turn into dust if you turn the fan on lol) and the s--- heads that made this law.
I literally know the police officers that have to enforce this law too ugh (my uncle is an officer so I know a lot of his coworkers :') ) -

It's kinda funny tho because whenever I go in the girls bathroom people think I'm either looking for my mom, or I'm a trans girl because of how feminine my f---ing voice is, so they're all: "You'll never be a real woman!" and it's like.... Thanks?
Phhht lol yeah. Dude America has weird ass laws. (I'm either moving out of the entire country asap or just moving to the east coast or maaaaybe California/Washington)
Idk man some of the police officers are terrifying (don't want to get into tHaT kinda politics but like.... *cough* a lot of cops f---ing suck but like i don't want to list any reasons to trigger anyone lol *COUGH COUGH*)
