I guess, but your parents should be able to get that it’s triggering.

It’s kinda f---ed up if you ask me. It’s fine if they believe in God but they shouldn’t be forcing it on you. -
It's only triggering because of the adults there, and they know that. I mean, they let me hang out with my atheist buddies after church, which technically you're not supposed to do because Sunday's the day of god or whatever

I mean, forcing is the wrong word... It's just one of those things my family just does. It's dumb, but idk...
And if it gets really bad they've normally let me bail (depending on why), I just haven't told them when it's gotten really bad lately for whatever reason. -

I get that, but if you’re not religious and you still find it triggering I feel like you should be able to have say.
It’s good that they’ve let you bail. I’m not gonna say you should tell them, because that’ll sound dumb coming from me, but maybe at least let them know you’re really not enjoying it? -

There's no way in HELL I'm telling my mom that. I've told my dad, and he understands, so that's how I'm able to bail all the time.

Yup... Just look up Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and gay in the same sentence and you get some fuuuun results (Especially if you look up the bible/book of mormon verses on it) ;-; I mean, all the kids are queer tho, so like, the reverse psychology is working
I got a couple friends that I can talk to about it tomorrow, but other than that, unless I want to risk if my mom is gonna look through my phone or not, no. -
It’s actually really f---ing dumb because the bible says something along the lines of ‘respect your neighbours and love everybody’ blah blah blah. Learn the book you’re supposed to worship. It makes absolutely no sense those people are homophobic.

I have a verse saved on my phone that tells every religious person that records themselves worshiping and whatever for fame and attention will give them 'no mercy from their father in heaven' and nobody remembers that verse for some reason, but they remember to pull out their phone and yell at someone over god for views.
Yeah, she does, not much though, and normally it's just when I'm in a super anGstY mood. -
