the thread name is definitely dumb, but this is serious, jaja
how would you guys describe your sleeping habits?
if you’re someone who has trouble sleeping, is there anything that makes it easier for you? if so, please tell me.
i’ve definitely struggled w insomnia for a long time. thankfully, it’s not nearly as bad as it use to be. still, i have trouble falling asleep even when i feel tired. -
i have issues sometimes falling asleep too but what i do is i make myself maximally comfortable i put on family guy, Simpsons or south park, put a soft blanket partially over my eyes and sleep within like 5-10 minutes

I used to have trouble falling asleep when I was 9 or 10. I tried Valerian Root, which is supposed to make you fall asleep. It works on my mom and my sister, but not on my dad and me, so I guess it depends on the person.
Then my parents let me have this thing called Sleepy-Time tea, but they only let me have it a few times a week, because it was made out of some sort of flower that stunts development (physical, I think, but I don't remember if it was physical or mental development). It would make me sleepy, but I wasn't able to fall asleep. I'd usually go back and forth between that kind of tea and chamiomile.
But after a few months, my sleeping got back to normal. I haven't had any problems since. -
I usually drink tea. Peppermint, chamomile, and raspberry are all relaxing. Also, just clear your mind when you lay down. Think of calming things.

i remember sleepy-time tea. the grape flavor was really good. i liked the taste, but it didn’t really do the trick.
-
I don't remember if that's what it was called, but I know it was supposed to help you fall asleep.

It's sleepy-time tea. My sister drinks it.

Ok.

I feel fortunate to never really have had problems with sleeping.
Brother asked me if I was a morning or a night person
And I just said neither.. I said I just like sleep lol -
i’d honestly feel weird if i didn’t have awkward sleeping habits.

I have trouble falling asleep but I found this walkthrough video on YouTube that made me tired when I watched it though I must admit it stopped working after five times.

Yeah, I've had to take medication to make me sleepy, and I'm not kidding when I say I've taken it for as long as I can remember. It's not melatonin, I never had good experience with that, but its a medication that my doctor prescribes to me. When I forget to take it, my brain just won't shut off. I guess that's kind of a part of having ADHD. But even when I do take it, sometimes I still have trouble falling asleep. I usually read until my eyes are too tired to stay open, but recently I've been keeping an online diary on my laptop that I write in at night. I know that like, the blue light or whatever from screens is supposed to wake your brain up, but typing for forever just seems to make me sleepy. But that's just me.
