omg25 Newbiei dont think that its right its a human. if we cant go up to people and kill them then we shouldnt be able to kill babies.

I agree with it on one hand, considering that people make mistakes. It is from these mistakes that we learn: a child at an early age can ruin the woman's life. It's her body tha inflates like a balloon, her body that loses it's touch, in a few words. It's her who has to go through the pain for nine months. And adoption? Yes. Because living in that stage for nine months is completely worthwhile if you're just going to give it away. NO.
On the other hand, if the kid was having sex before she was ready for children, she deserves it. She's a slut, in my opinion. She would deserve to suffer, face the consequences. Why should she get the chance to just make the problem disappear? So that she go bang a bunch of other guys instead?
:) -
tongue AdvancedIt's pretty misogynistic to think that anyone who has sex "before they're ready" is a slut. And it's even more misogynistic to think they deserve it. And being a female, like Nikki Knox, makes you the perfect misogynist, because then every man can point to you to justify their own misogyny.

i don't think you're a slut unless you're banging more than 3 guys at once at a VERY early age xP
-
tongue AdvancedHoly s---, someone else on this site knows Peter Singer!

@Heavy: Did you take her virginity? If not...yeahhh she's a bit of a slut. If so, I don't see the problem: she's 17, has a boyfriend and sexual attraction is present. Go for it :P
-
a girl f---s a lot of guys, she's a slut
a dude f---s a lot of guys, he did a 'good job'
what the f---. -
@Heavy: You misunderstand. I was trying to give two sides to the story, depending on the person and how they feel at the time. I failed at that, sorry. My mistake, I made it confusing.
When did I say that I thought before 18 makes a slut? I don't remember. And yes, I find it matters. If you take her virginity at 17, it's not too bad. But, if not, and she might have been having sex since 16...I'd have mixed feelings. 16's a little young, in my opinion.
Again, these are opinions. Argue them? Fine. I don't mind. But at least be polite about it :) -
i failedd LOL i meant girls***

tongue AdvancedNikki did technically say "before they're ready", but I really don't even know what that means. Different states have different laws about age of consent. I guess "ready" would kind of have to be adulthood. "Being ready" according to what I've been taught is being able to accept the consequences of sex, i.e. pregnancy. But adulthood starts at different times for different people. I would say that if you are in college and not working, you aren't an adult. College students on average change their major five times. If they haven't made up their mind about what they're gonna do the rest of their lives, they can't be expected to take care of a child. And if you're in college and you're forced to have a baby, that basically derails your future, the same way a 16 year old in high school would have their future derailed by having a baby. This is why I'm pro-choice. We need to accept that people have sex "before they're ready". And it really isn't fair at all to punish them their whole lives for one mistake. It would be like having your hands cut off for stealing from the cookie jar as a child (maybe).

It's pretty slutty to go around screwing everyone you meet, no matter your gender.
-
tongue AdvancedAgreed.

lesb_s NewbieThe term slut, whore, tramp (etc.) are all socializations put into place by certain institutions to promote patriarchy. The "reputation" we get by simply meeting certain sexual needs is completely idiotic since it is human nature to act upon your instincts/needs. If someone judges an other on sexual promiscuity, it is quite illogical and, if I may say so, incompetent (because there is no logical premise in the judgement). People need to mind their own damn business, if it doesn't truly affect you, stop complaining about it. And whether someone sleeps around is no one's business as long as they're not spreading dangerous STDS around.

FLgirl92 NewbieI personally don't think abortion is right. I would never have one. But I can understand why someone would want an abortion. I think should be legal, because the government doesn't have the right to anyone's body. Also people would still have abortions if they were illegal, and it wouldn't be safe.
