I don't agree with abortion or the Faith Healing religion. But I'm fine with the death penalty. Why? Because the person is an adult. It's their fault. An unborn baby didn't chose.
But that's just my opinion. Don't hate on me for it. -
well a newborn baby pup doesnt get to choose if its mother eats it as soon as it's born. The reason it is done is because either the mother didnt want the baby, the baby had a physical defect, or there were too many babies already. This kind of thing isnt only limited to humans. And at least when we do it, we can donate it to bettering humanity as a whole.

I agree that early in the pregnancy, the fetus is basically an organism that cannot survive on its own and is highly undeveloped. But as the months go by, it becomes more of a baby. I think there should be a cut-off point where it becomes considered a baby, and thus a person. An abortion late in pregnancy is sort of like killing a premie baby, and that is wrong (unless there are severe health problems). But earlier, abortion should be the woman's choice. That's my view.

unless your in your teens and stuck then you shouldn't.
-
tongue AdvancedI'll accept that. The option exists basically for girls who aren't ready to be mothers. I just wish less girls got into that situation in the first place, especially since so many of them have the baby anyway.
-
But after an abortion you cant have children. Ever.
-
tongue AdvancedUm, no, that's absolutely false. A woman who has had an abortion can still biologically give birth to a child.

A fetus is definitely a human. Abortion is clearly wrong. Murder. If you did not want a child, you should have been more careful. Because this is a child who was conceived, who existed. Who was murdered before it ever saw the light. Who would never be allowed to grow into possibly a beautiful human being. the next president, a war hero, a loving mother/father, you never know who your killing. This is one who will never know the happiness of birthdays or family or love or success or the sunrise. They will never see fireworks or rolling waves or trusting smiles or anything resembling the wonders we behold and take for granted every time. It is murder of a truly innocent being.
As for the death penalty, I am for and against it. I am for it because some people just deserve to die. Take the wicked man who rapes and murders innocent women, mothers, sisters, friends, in cold blood. Take the house wife who drowns her children or poisons her husband, a loving family who trusts her with all their hearts, only to be destroyed by the face they held so dear. These people deserve to die. However, there is the issue of an innocent person being hand the death penalty, and all the way down death row, plea their innocence, but die anyway. The families left devastated, knowing that their innocent loved one was gone. Knowing that the real transgressor was free while they were left to mourn and suffer. This is wrong. It is right and wrong, and if they could find a way to be completely accurate with judgment, my disagreement would fall entirely. -
don't forget, if the mother's life is in danger, the fetus can be aborted
I'm for early abortion, anything before the third trimester. -
I used to have that thought. Playing god. We did not create life, so what gives us the right to take it? But these people simply cannot atone for their sins with a sentence in prison. They must know the fear their victims felt. And die. There are some people in the world... that if they had not been sentenced to the Death penalty.. I would have hunted them down and killed them myself.

I believe that if a woman decides to abort her baby, then that is the way it was meant to be. The baby was never meant for anything great. It was meant to be a hope, but nothing more.
I believe that a baby is not truly alive until it is out of the mother. But that's just me. -
I already know too well that I could kill if I wanted to. And if I killed one who deserved to die? I would have no guilt. Who would suffer for the loss of a killer? No one. Okay, perhaps their family, but in the end, what contribution does a killer make to a family, but to disgrace and horrify them? Yes, it sounds hypocritical. I stand and offer up my abilities to kill them, and then speak of how worthless a killer is. But I simply admit- that I am just as worthless. So, as long as I am ruining my life, I shall do it by taking down as many of those who deserve to die as I can, before I myself are brought down. I do not exclude myself from the pool of those disturbed, who's lives are not worth preserving.

A fetus is human, but it's not the same as looking out you window, seeing a man walking down the street, and shooting him dead. The fetus has no memory, no experience, and only the most rudimentary mental abilities. The man on the street has had a life...maybe a wife and kids. He thinks, he feels, he is human in every sense of the word, whereas a fetus just isn't. I see a real difference there. That's why I don't like the abortion = murder comparison.
But it must be said that a fetus is a human, and alive. To kill it is a major ethical decision. I just don't think the government should be involved, if it's early in the pregnancy. I also don't think it's the same thing as killing someone who has truly experienced life. -
Agreed with Emma.
