This thread is kind of late. Obama isn't even the last person to win the Peace Prize.

There's no denying that the Nobel voters wanted a little celebrity appeal. Still, Obama did alot to reverse the image of the United States throughout the world, so I say yes.

I don't really think that Barrack Obama really deserved. Although he is the President of the United States that doesn't mean he went through a lot of effort. Look at America now. They're in debt. Also people are more willing to risk their lives for World peace,

That's not exactly fair. He deserves it about as much as Donald Trump deserves to be president. More than Paris Hilton, but still not alot. There are much worse people you can give the Nobel Peace Prize. Kim Jong Il, Qaddafi, Charlie Sheen, etc.
