That isn't what she said at all.
People who really want an abortion are going to get it one way or another. The only difference is that by making it legal it can be done medically, used to further advance science, and not kill the woman in the process. -

Do you really want America to be a place where even more mothers are forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term or try to abort the child themselves and risking the child being born alive and be killed even more unhumanely shortly afterwards?

We shouldn't say "Hey, I'm giving you permission to murder your child" to stop this. -
So you're saying that a woman's body is nothing more than property. A tool for creating children. After all, that's all, once they've started they aren't allowed to stop.

We should say "hey, abortion is an option for some women, but we'll make sure youre treated humanely and taken care of by someone with medical experience rather than an untrained desperate mother"

The growth in her uterus has it's own rights. The same way a tumor does.
They are both just growths of cells. And if you consider Murphy's law, they both have a chance of becoming a person at some point. -

Dont even f---ing dare, im serious. No i don't agree with that because an embryo doesn't have memories even self realization like an 8 year old has. Plus an 8 year old isnt growing inside a woman's body causing harm

Damask, the way you are warping everything everyone else is saying; it is physically impossible for Sapphire (unless just totally agreeing with you) to not "agree" to that. Because even if she tries to explain to you AGAIN that a collection of cells is not in any way shape or form a human being, you're just going to do the same f---ing thing you've been doing and changing the context of her statement. You are putting words in other people's mouths. And then deciding to ignore what they're actually saying and fighting what you THINK they're saying. Listen to our words. Stop making assumptions on what we're saying. You're only labeling yourself as more ignorant. And while it's hard to believe you can become any more so than you already are, you just keep digging deeper.
