Gio could only nod, and he stood a few steps away from the Russian as he cleaned.

Ivan got some bleach on the rag and started cleaning again. It was much more productive. "Gio, after I'm done cleaning, I have something to give you."

Giovanni was surprised at that. "W-What do you w-want to g-g-give me..?"

"Umm, it's a surprise." Ivan said, still cleaning, almost halfway done now.

The younger man nodded, staying silent for the rest of that time. His guard shot up though.

Ivan finished quickly after they stopped talking he put the rag in the wash and the bleach back under the sink.

Giovanni stayed on the stairs, just thinking as usual.

"Giovanni?"

"Mm?" he asked softly.

Ivan pulled a small slip of paper from his jacket pocket. This is what I wanted to give you.." he said softly and sadly.

Gio took the paper, and fixed it so he would be able to read it.

"It's an airplane ticket back to America. I'm sorry about today, and I now know it isn't safe for you to be with me. And I know you're terrified of me again. The plane leaves in two days.."

Giovanni looked at the ticket in shock. He was very unsure of how to respond. It was something that could save Gio from anything that came for him, but he realized that they were searching for him in America. It was a touch choice..
He dropped the ticket, and stepped on it with his boot. He would have ripped it, but his left arm rendered useless. -
"Giovanni, you need to go back. Either to America or somewhere else. I don't want to hurt you." Ivan said.

"I'm not going!" Giovanni barked, feeling tears sting in his eyes. "We still need to be married.. I want to be with you.. I'll love you no matter what happens..!"
