He was surprised at what Ivan did. He wanted to go and chase after him, but he didn't have the energy to do so. So he just headed up the stairs slowly.

Ivan sat in his parents closet and began to cry. And cry and cry and cry.

He made his way up the stairs, and heard crying from a room. So naturally he went over to where the room was.

Ivan kept crying, crying for his parents, his brother, crying for the pain that he had inflicted upon his love.

Giovanni stood at the doorway, unsure of what to do. He felt horrible about this, and he wanted nothing but to able to help.

Ivan stopped crying. It seemed like he'd cried himself out. He curled up in a ball on the floor. He was tired now.

Bump.

Giovanni then gathered his courage to go ahead and stood in the entrance of the closet where Ivan was. But once again, he didn't know what to say.

Ivan looked up at Giovanni. He didn't know what to say.

He got to his knees and hugged Ivan with his arm. He still felt scared, but maybe it'd help to start forgetting what had happened.

Ivan hugged him back, gently.

Giovanni sighed into the hug, his body shivering lightly as he did so.

"I'm sorry.." Ivan whispered.

"Why are you sorry..?" Giovanni asked, confused again.

"For hurting you so badly.."
