He got out of the car slowly.

Ivan walked to the front door of the house and walked in, leaving the door open for Gio. He headed to the kitchen and got himself a vodka.

Giovanni noticed Ivan getting the vodka, and sighed softly. He then went over to grab a wet rag or something, because he was more than certain that the blood from before was still there. -
Ivan only drank a small glass. He really needed something to numb the mental turmoil going on.

Giovanni went up the stairs carefully, and got on his knees on the steps that would have stains on them. He would have never imagined that a simple task would be harder to do with only one arm.

Ivan went out of the kitchen, and saw Giovanni on the stairs. He went over. "Here, let me do that," he said, holding out his hand for the rag.

Gio cringed at Ivan's voice, and for a split second he was full of terror when he looked over to the Russian. Seeming reluctant, he gave Ivan the rag and scooted away a bit.

It hurt Ivan to see the terror in Gio's eyes. He made sure not to touch Giovanni as he got down on his knees and started scrubbing at the red spots.

Giovanni watched Ivan as he cleaned the spots, unsure of what to say. This entire ordeal was his own fault, yet he was so terrified of his own love now.

"Giovanni, could you go get me the bottle of bleach? It's under the sink in the kitchen, next to the trash bags?"

He nodded and quickly got up to retrieve the bottle of bleach, and in his rush he almost stumbled down the stairs. But he managed to balance himself and then hurried to the kitchen.

Ivan scrubbed vigorously at the stains. He felt so goddamn horrible for letting his temper get out of hand.

He brought the bleach, and it was obvious that the bottle was weighing him down. But it didn't stop him from rushing. He was too scared to take too long to do something for Ivan.

Ivan met Giovanni halfway up the stairs and took the bleach. "Thank you," he said softly.
