Giovanni hardened once he caught a glimpse of the building.

Ivan got out of the car and went to Giovanni's side.

Giovanni reluctantly got out.

Ivan took his hand and walked into the hospital.

He held his hand extremely tightly.

Ivan squeezed his hand back.

"I'm scared, Ivan," he admitted.

Ivan nodded. "I know, love."

"What if they take me away and I don't see you again?" Such a situation was highly impossible, but of course Giovanni was one to worry.

"I wouldn't ever let that happen." Ivan reassured Gio.

"Okay.." he whispered.

Ivan held him tightly, assuring him that everything was going to be fine.

It took a lot from Gio to not start crying on Ivan's arm, but he managed.

Finally Mr. Ludwig walked into the waiting room. "Okay, we are ready to take a couple blood tests now." he said with that generic doctor smile.

Giovanni turned a bit pale at the thought of having to have a needle stuck in him. But in response, he nodded at the doctor. His smile made him feel uneasy.
