Ivan shook his head. I'm not going to leave you alone, Giovanni."

"I shouldn't be the one holding you back," Giovanni protested. "It's always me holding you back Ivan. You need to do things too."

"It's fine, Giovanni. Elli and Alec can tell me how Demetri is when they get back. If its super bad, then I'll go and leave you here with Elli."

Giovanni sighed, nearly bitterly. "Okay, Ivan.. If you really think so."

Ivan nodded. "I do think so."

"Alright, Ivan.. I understand.."

Ivan nodded he then proceeded to walk to the living room, lay down on the couch and bury his face in his pillow. His shoulders started heaving as if he were sobbing, but he didn't make a sound.

Giovanni walked over to where he was. "Ivan.." he whispered, getting on his knees besides the couch and putting his head on the Russian's back.

He didn't respond and his shoulders seemed to shake even more.

Gio lifted his head and then proceeded to put one arm around his shoulders. "It'll be okay."

Ivan couldn't say anything, but he stopped sobbing, though tears still glided down his cheeks.

He tried his best to wipe off the tears from Ivan's face. "Sh sh," he muttered softly.

Ivan hugged Gio gently. He couldn't seem to stop crying.

Giovanni hugged him back, unsure of what to say. It seemed like his words weren't very comforting.

Gio had calmed Ivan down but he just didn't have enough energy to speak.
