She then went and drove quickly back to the hospital, where she spotted Ivan pacing in the parking lot.

Giovanni saw Ivan, and seemed somewhat worried about his pacing.

When Ivan saw Ellis's car he ran towards it. She immediately stopped so she didn't run him over. He practically threw open the passenger side door and picked up Giovanni into his arms. "God, I was so worried, I thought something horrible happened to you.."

"I'm sorry. Elli and I just went to get lunch," he whispered, hugging him tightly. "I didn't mean to make you worried or anything.."

"Next time, tell me please. I was so scared, please don't ever do that to me again."

"I promise," Giovanni nodded, kissing his cheek softly.

Ivan kissed a bit forcefully. But he was just so worried.

He wriggled a bit but accepted it, knowing that he was worried.

Ivan set Giovanni down gently, but still kept his arms around him. "Let's just go home now," he said.

"Okay," Giovanni said softly.

Ivan got in the back seat with Giovanni and Alek came out of the hospital and got into the car.

Giovanni set his head on Ivan's shoulder.

Elli drove them all back home, and the whole drive, Ivan hugged and cuddled and kissed Giovanni. He was just so glad nothing had happened to his beloved.

Giovanni kissed him and told him various times, "It's okay. Either way, sick or not, I can defend myself."

When they arrived back home, Ivan picked up Giovanni and held him in his arms. He then walked into the house and went to his room.
