"It's not," he said again. "It was my fault for not having stayed in the car."

"I'm just so sorry for coming into your life and ruining it. You could've been happy without me. Things would've been fine for you."

"No," Giovanni said firmly, holding his shoulders and looking at him straight in the eye. "I've been on so much medication to deal with my depression and anxiety and everything else. Since you've come, I haven't even thought about taking the meds because I've felt much better."

Ivan looked down sadly, still feeling horrible.

"Trust me," Giovanni whispered, kissing his cheek lightly.

Ivan looked up at him. "No matter what I do, please don't ever leave me. I couldn't survive without you," he said sincerely. He hugged Giovanni tightly.

"Never," he said, hugging him tightly as well. "No matter what."

"Thank you." Ivan whispered, still hugging Giovanni.

"Of course," Gio nodded, kissing Ivan once more.

Ivan kissed him back this time.

Gio ran his hand through Ivan's soft hair.

Ivan pulled Giovanni down with him so Gio was lying on top of him.

He squirmed around softly at that.

"What shall we do now, my sweet love?" Ivan asked.
