She couldn't help but let some tears fall. "I-I love you, Chris. I don't want you to leave..." She said, barely above a whisper.
-
"I love you too, Jenifer..." He swallowed hard, willing the tears away.
-
She pulled back and looked into his lifeless eyes.
-
His knees started to give out beneath him. He didn't try to keep himself up; it would take too much strength, strength that he didn't possess. He fell to his knees, each breath an impossible task to carry out.
-
She knelt down beside him. "Please, Chris..." She whispered, her face inches from his.

-
Jenifer looked at him.
-
But he wasn't ready to give up, not just yet. "Can we go back in? It's cold..." He shivered a bit.
-
She nodded. "Sure." She said, standing up and helping him up once more.

He stumbled to his feet, his body tremoring slightly. So weak... -
(My cut and I are present if you'd like to continue. x3)

(I would like to continue. x3)
Jenifer put an arm lightly around him, helping her weak friend stand. -
They slowly made their way back into the house, turning their backs to the beautiful glowing sky. Once inside, Christopher leaned back gently against the sofa, shutting his eyes. Just a few steps was enough to whisk all of his energy away. He remained awake, however, only closing his eyes to dull the dizziness.
