I scooted away quickly. "Sorry." I blushed and looked out my window.

He grabbed her arm before she could fully scoot away.

I looked back at him. "What?" I was a little scared I had crossed the line.

"I'd prefer you do this." He leaned toward her and kissed her.

I was surprised. I reached my hands up and twirled them through his hair. His lips were soft and gentle against mine.

He pulled her back onto his lap. First kiss: in a car, with a girl he was holding hostage, who had suddenly become romantic. One to remember, definitely.

I had never rely this way about anyone. And the guy I finally choose to likeis the one who took me hostage on my sixteenth birthday.

Would this mean Nataly wasn't Mark's hostage anymore? Did this mean she'd be content to stay with him? None of these thoughts passed through his brain. Only the knowledge that he was kissing her. And he loved every second of it.

I pressed my body closer to his and broke away to catch some breath. He was amazing and I couldn't help but think he was an amazing kisser. I rested my head on his shoulder, breathing heavily. I smiled at him.
