He looked down at her, not quite knowing what to say.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and cuddled closer. "You smell so good. I just can't get over that."

"Great. Now I'll never be able to get rid of you," he said, half-joking.

"Good. I don't want to die." My voice sounded content with an edge of sadness in it.

He grinned. "I don't want you to die, either, to be honest."

I looked up at him. "Are you serious?"

"Pretty serious." He looked down at her.

"Why do you not want me to die?" I was curious because I got a feeling I was safe whenever I was with him.

"You aren't as annoying as I thought you'd be." He smiled. That wasn't all, but...

I smiled back. I had a feeling he wasn't telling everything. "And..."

"And?" He was a good liar. Hopefully it'd work.

"I know you're not saying something. I can see it in you're eyes." I smiled, hoping to encourage him.

"There's nothing else."

"Oh, sure," I said, smirking. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms tighter around his waist. "I'm not moving until you tell me."
