I woke up abruptly. "Who is it? Grab my gun!"

"What?" he asked, confused.

"Huh? Oh, it's you! Never mind..." I blushed a little. "You were laughing at me, weren't you?"

"Only because you were asking Mr. Cuddles for more tea. " He grinned.

"Oh, crap, you heard that?" I was embarrassed and blushed more.

He nodded, a smile spreading on his face.

"Oh, god," I lay my head back and moan.

He laughed a little.

"I want to go back to sleep but in afraid you'll laugh at me again." I was still pretty tired.

He shrugged. "I probably will. You're kinda cute when you're embarrassed."

I blushed even more at that comment. I looked out the window. I didn't know what to say.

He drifted back into sleep, or at least pretended to.

He fell back to sleep and I drifted off after him. In my dream, Mark saved me from an attacker. "You're not the bad guy," I mumbled in my sleep.

He didn't hear that one. If he had, though, he probably would've smiled at it.
(Hey, can I ask you a question?) -
Suddenly, the dream rushed away, replaced by a bluish darkness.
