"Hm?" he muttered groggily, looking over at her. "Oh."

I lean back and look outside. It has stopped raining but it's still cloudy. "Well, there goes a beautiful day."

He shrugged. "There'll probably be another one tomorrow." He drifted back to sleep.

I sigh and lean my head back against the headrest. It was too quiet so I turned on the radio and slowly drifted to sleep.

He continued to sleep.

I slept peacefully and dreamlessly.

He started having a dream about when he was little. Five, wasn't it? It was his uncle teaching him how to shoot a gun. The words echoed in his mind: "You'll remember this for the rest of your life; you'll need to." He definitely had. Would his uncle be proud of him now?

I rolled in my sleep and mumbled a bit.

He heard someone saying something. But it wasn't his uncle. He opened his eyes slightly. Who had it be- Nataly, of course.

I drifted into a dream of a memory. I was having a tea party with a few of my stuffed animals. "Mr. Cuddles.." I murmured in my sleep.

He heard her say something- Mr. Cuddles? He stifled his chuckling.

"Mmhm..." I rolled over in my sleep. "I want more sugar in my tea."

He couldn't help it. He started laughing quietly.
