(No, with something for homework. The stupid question asks how I felt about the story ending and I want to say something about bittersweet irony but last time I did... it didn't end well.)

I shrugged. "Nothing I can really do about it...the doctor said the bullet hit one of his organs...he'll be gone within a few hours...even minutes." I said, crying a bit. But real tears, considering what was really going on, it wasn't hard to cry.

He awkwardly patted her back. "Shouldn't you go try to say goodbye to him?"

I sighed. "He's in England. He was there for a business meeting."

I bit my lip. "Yeah."

He just sat there next to her for a moment, not saying anything.

What are those demons doing now? Planning? Killing? Talking to "the boss"? I blinked, feeling a drop of rain on my head.

He looked up at the sky. It was starting to rain. He looked over at the girl. "Then should you go find your family?"

I looked over at him. "My mother died giving birth to me...I have no siblings..."

He stared at her for a moment. "I'm really, really sorry..."
