"Mason." He smiled a bit. Skylar? He'd never seen her at school before. It was a shame he hadn't met her sooner.

I smiled. "That's a nice name." -
"I've never seen you around here, Skylar..." he muttered.

I bit my lip. "I never really came...outside my house much before, was homeschooled, and taught over the internet."

"Oh." He nodded a bit. "I like you so far. Will you leave your house more often?"

I smiled a bit. "Probably, nothing else to really do."

"Good." He grinned.

I grinned back. "So...what now?"

He shrugged. It was raining harder. "We should probably get out of the rain..."

I nodded. "Yeah, my car's over there..." I said, getting up.

He stood up. Should he follow her?

"You want a ride?" I asked.

"Sure." He followed her to her car.
