I looked over at the scenery.

He started to doze off.

I glanced at him.

He rolled over, as if he were looking out the window.

I looked back at the road.

He slept peacefully.

I looked in the mirror, seeing a car behind us. I didn't think much of it.

He breathed softly.

As we continued farther along down the road, the car seemed to be fallowing us.

His eyes opened slightly, then closed again.

I looked at the car again, trying to see if it was actually fallowing us, or if I was being paranoid.

He snored a bit.

I turned down a random road, sure enough, the car fallowed.

He woke up, yawning slightly.

I looked back, worried.
