Callum sighed and sat down on the sofa. He'd practically given up his search for her. He tried one last thing. The chat website also worked through SMS. He logged on through his phone and waited, praying she'd done the same.
-
After a while, Caroline excused herself to go to the restroom. With the door locked, she logged onto her account. Wlcome Back -CaIn-!
-
The page took forever to load. Callum knew AT&T was slow, but not this slow. Finally the welcome page appeared. [/i] Welcome Back, zealand36![/i] His face lot up when he saw that she was online.
I gotta go. D: I'll be back tomorrow. Bye! -
Caroline almost squeeled with delight as she opened up a chat box.
I'm at the party, you?
Aw, okie doks. See ya Lananana D: -
I'll be in and out, so I'll take advantage of the time I have.
[/i] Me too. I'm looking for you. I'll be waiting by the sofas.[/i] -

Me too. I'm looking for you. I'll be waiting by the sofas. -
:3 Would you would like to continue?
-
Sorry, threads are flying down fast. I didn't se it ^-^'
Alright, I'll meet you there.
Caroline's hands were shaking so violantly, she could barely log off. She exited the restroom, heading down the hallway with a slight skip in her step. She peeks around the corner, where no one would see her, hoping to see who her secret lover was before-Wait, what?! -
x3 That's okay, I overlook so many things even without the flying threads.
Callum grinned and stood up. He couldn't help but look around the party at who might be on their cell phone. His heart thumped loudly in his chest, fueled by adrenaline and the excitement of finally meeting CaIn. He couldn't help but worry, though, about the question he had posed to himself earlier. What if she's disappointed that it's me? -
It was Callum, Rachael's crush. She couldn't love him, what would she say. Caroline thought about it, tears threatening to fall. She then decided to do something she knew she'd regret later on.
Forget about it. Forget about it all. -
Dx Sorry for disappearing. I got tagged twice on dA and it's very time consuming trying to take care of it all.
Callum stood in the same spot. Ten minutes passed; then twenty. He checked his phone yet again. She was offline. He knew it was true; she hated who he'd turned out to be. He sighed and sat back down, head in his hands. He couldn't help but get a headache from it, all of it. -
It's okay
She silently slipped back into the restroom, closed and locked the door, and finally let the tears fall. She'd come so close to happiness, but she couldn't do it. Rachael had been her friend since forever, she couldn't risk loosing her over a guy.
