Rachael saw Callum arrive. "Uh, hi Callum.." She said dreamily. "Like my dress?"

Callum smiled and nodded. "It's quite lovely."

"Thanks..." She smiled.

Caroline arrived just as Rachael was oppening the door for a group of peers. She saw Rachael look at Callum the way she always did, and couldn't help but smile.

Callum smiled back at Caroline. He broke off his conversation with Rachael. "Hello, there," he said, turning to Caroline. "You're looking lovely as well, Caroline."

Rachael saw Caroline arrive. "Hey Caroline!" she waved happily.

Caroline blushed, smile growing weaker. "H-hi C-Callum, Rachael."

Callum nodded at the two of them. "I'll leave you to do your thing." He walked over to the punch bowl, pouring himself a cup.

Rachael watched as Callum left. "Does he look cute or what?" Rachael whispered to Caroline, staring at Callum.

Callum engaged in some conversations with various peers. Some of the boys on the school soccer team, his friends, drew some laughs from him.

"Y-yeah, I guess." Caroline replied, looking around. It seemed as though almost everyone had shown up already, even though the party had just started. How was she ever going to find him?

"I love your dress." Rachael smiled.

Callum couldn't help but wonder where she was. The party was larger than he had expected it to be. It was going to be a piece of work.

"Oh, um, thanks Rachael." she smiled, acually feeling pretty. She gave up her search for now, figuring she'd have plenty of time later.
