If you do, then I vow to help you reac your dream. No matter the cost.
brb, Dinner -
Okie. May your meal be delicious and satisfying!~
He smiled, his face turning a bit red at her response.
Maybe I'll run into you at that winter party tonight? -
Oh, so you're going?
I must admit, I was suprised. I didn't think we'd be meeting so soon. "Caroline! Come down here!" It was her mother, and she didn't sound to happy. "Just a second!" -
Yes, I'll be there, but I've got to go. My father has some news for me. I'll definitely be going. Goodbye.
He paused at that, thinking to himself. I love you, he was urged to type. He did not, leaving the message and pressing enter.
Callum reluctantly logged off. He made his way downstairs, dreading having to even speak to his father. He always found a way to turn even a simple 'hello' into a conversation about Callum's future. His future in football, that he himself did not choose. -
Bye then, I guess I'll see you there.
She pressed enter, ignoring the pop-up the chat site gave her. zealand36 Has Logged Off, Would You Like To Save Your Message? She made her way to the living room, where her mother and father sat waiting. -
His father stood beaming at the bottom of the steps. "You've been accepted, Callum. Next year we'll be moving to Britain; you'll have an early start and an advantage at getting drafted! Isn't that spectacular!"
Callum stared blankly at his father. "You're kidding me." -
"We got on email from your History teacher today, he's worried about you." her mother said, while motioning for her to sit. Caroline did as she was told, waiting for the rant to begin.
-
"No, this is the real deal. You have a shot; a BIG shot at that!" his father forced Callum into an exuberant hug. "Gosh, there's so much in store for you, Callum. If only your mother were here to see you now!"
Callum smiled nervously. "Erm... Yeah..." He squirmed out of his father's grip. "Dad? About that academy? I like America... Can't we just, well, stay in one place for a while?"
His father chuckled half-heartedly. "You're funny, boy. You really are a jokester."
Callum sighed. "I have to finish my studies, Dad." He quickly climbed the stairs and shut himself into his room. He enjoyed football, yes, but it wasn't his lifelong dream. He wanted to live in a world of music; to be enveloped by beautiful notes and chords. Callum searched through his closet, finding something decent to wear to the party. He settled on a leather jacket, casual tie, and jeans. Something about the combination just screamed his name. -
"I just can't believe it. You're getting Bs! After a lifetime of straight As you decide now would be the time to strt flunking?" It went on like this for a while. Her mother went on and on about how dissapointed she was, and how her sister never got anything less then an A+. Her father said how she would never live up to the future she wanted if she didn't pick up her act. Eventually, they let her go with a warning. "But if I ever find out you get another B, it's bye-bye to that computer of your's."
-
Callum stood in front of the bathroom mirror, finishing tying his tie. He brushed his hair out of his face, only to have it fall back in place again. He stared at himself in the mirror with eyes of scrutiny. Did he look too fake? He didn't have time to change anything. It was nearly seven.
._. I think that's when the party was? -
Either that or seven thirty, and speaking of the party where's IFMN?
She sifted through her closet, searching for something "pretty". She found a blue and white dress from about a year ago, and tried it on. It was a little snug, but it still fit. She combed her hair and stiled it into pig tails. -
Dx I have no idea.
Callum's new mode of transportation was walking. He hated cars, buses, and trains. Planes made him sick. They symbolized leaving the past behind; he'd done so many times. He decided to walk to Rachael's house; it wasn't too far. -
I'm retrieving her.
-
She found her favorite coat, and with the help of some higher being was able to make it out of the house unseen. Caroline took her time walking to Rachael's, hoping everyone would be there before her.
Okie doks then -
Callum arrived at Rachael's right on time, as he always did with everything. He knocked on the door, a few others surrounding him as they waited for the door to be answered.
I made a thread. Hopefully she sees it.
