Each of us is the child of a demon pack leader. All of those demon packs are at war. We have all been taught not to trust anyone from the opposing packs, and to kill them instead. (or run away, if you want your home pack to be like that.)
Vampires are natural enemies of demons. So, demon hunters use vampires to find and capture all of us. We're gonna be tested on or sold or whatever you want, so we all have to work together to escape and survive. There are vampires and demon hunters after us, and we have no idea where we are. We want to find our way back, but have to stay together to survive.
Differences that would need to be distinguished: what type of demon you are, what pack you come from, whether your pack allows you to hunt humans, and your packs traditions. We might each have an ability that varies from different packs. Excessive speed, for one who lives in the mountains. Control of fire for one who lives near a desert, maybe. Things like that.
