I laughed a bit. "No, I miss..." I trailed off. "I miss being human..." I said looking up at him.

"Oh... Yeah... Me too. Though I barely got more than a few years, so I can't really remember most of it." I sighed.

"I...I was just turned about three years ago, so I can still remember some things. My family...friends." I felt my eyes moist and turned away from him.

I sensed her getting sad. "I'm so sorry, Rose," I whispered softly, placing my hand gently on her shoulder.

I looked at his hand. "It's just...I never wanted this...they said it would be better...and-and they lied to me..." My voice became quiet.

I took a step closer to her, wrapping my arm around her shoulders. I didn't know what to say... I knew I couldn't make it better. I looked into her eyes, hoping she could see the message within mine.

I looked into his eyes and smiled sadly. "But because of that...I meet you."

I smiled and looked down at my feet. "Last night... After I left... I couldn't stop thinking about you..."

I smiled. "And I couldn't stop thinking about you..." I said creasing his face.

Heat rushed to my face. My heart raced in response to her touch. I looked up to meet her eyes.

I met his eyes. I wonder... I thought as I reached up until his lips met mine.

It felt as though a fire had started on my lips, spreading through my entire body... It felt... nice. I brought my hand up to her cheek and kissed her back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck.
