I nodded. "Yeah... Yeah, I'm sure."

I raised an eyebrow but let it slide. "Whatever."

I scanned the crowd. If he knew where I was, he'd have to be following me around... I was just about to give up when I spotted him standing over by the woods, watching me like a hawk. s---.

I looked in the direction he was. "Is he..." I trailed off, looking at the man starring at us.

I clenched my teeth. "My dad. I'll handle it." I started to get up.

"Eli..." I said trying to stop him.

"I have to sort this out." I continued towards my father.

I sighed and watched him walk towards his father.

"Eli," my father said blandly. There was a hint of anger in his voice.
I raised my eyebrows, stopping a few feet from him. "I didn't think fathers were stalkers." -
I felt unsafe still. I knew Eli was a wold, and wolves and angels of death were enemies...One thing was for sure, his dad could no way in hell know what I was.

"This doesn't look like school, Eli."
"Funny thing, Dad. Because this doesn't look like work either." I narrowed my eyes at him. -
I looked around for any wolves. What was taking him so long?

He shook his head, smiling. "You've got me there. But you need to head to school. Now. No girls. I want you to stop seeing this one. She's impairing your sense of judgement." He glanced over at Rose coldly.
"Dad. She's my only friend here," I protested.
"What I say goes. Get to school, Eli." He turned and walked away, back to his car.

He looked angry. Oh God...
