i feel like my life is becoming real life neko atsume and i’m not opposed to it
stray cats in my neighborhood have noticed the food and shelter i have laid out for them, and they seem to like it
five different cats spotted in the last 24 hours -
chat is it unethical to feed stray cats if you can’t afford to tnr (trap n release, as in getting them fixed and putting them back outside)

it’s been absolutely miserable outside this winter and i just feel so terrible for those kitties, although there’s arguments on the impact stray cats have on local wildlife

I honestly think you should vaccinate, not fix if they are strays. but its up to you.

why do you think this? i believe it’s better to fix your cats because there’s such overpopulation problem, with both neighborhoods and shelters around the country. it’s better than cats being forced to live a life of braving the weather, fighting other cats and wondering if they’ll get the chance to eat that day. although, i’m completely open to hearing different perspectives /gen
